You can, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a used 330ES for the same price as a lot of folks have upgraded to a unit that is both in/out.
I asked a friend of mine that does avionics about this a few months back. He said he could send my 330 in for the upgrade but it is far cheaper and easier to just buy a used 330es. The conversion doesn’t make financial sense anymore.
