C152: unwanted music over headset?

Today I went up for some touch and goes,solo. I squaked 1200. I flew a 152 with single (dial) comm.



The whole time, I kept hearing music over my headset. I did not hear talking like a radio DJ, just light music.

Where did the music come from? Nearby house? Background in the tower? other ideas?

I wonder if your airplane had an ADF - and it was tuned to an AM radio station?

Was the radio receiving the whole time you heard music? (Could you tell if it was?)

Was the VOR tuned to 108? I used to pick up to 107.9 on mine.
