I found out tonight on the weekly 2 meter net that my original CFI died of a massive heart attack last summer. Another friend is helping his widow dispose of all his radio gear. This guy wasn't old enough to have that happen.

Anybody can die at any time. Heart attacks in younger people are usually far worse than in older people. Carpe diem.
