Broken HJP-520 or 500

Hello,

Unfortunately I dropped my radio, and broke the plastic retaining rail where the battery slides on. I can't find a replacement case. I am hoping that there is a dead unit out there somewhere so I can scavenge the case. If anyone knows of one please pass along my email so I can get this unit fixed. I love the radio, but its really frustrating holding the battery in place to use it. KW_MONTREAL AT HOTMAIL

For what it's worth, I have to use 3M electrical tape to hold the battery holder for my JHP520 together; it is the junkiest design I have ever ever ever seen.

I will also tell you that I have a JHP520, and have had to return for repair three (3) times. In this connection, while the radio is a piece of junk, I have only the highest praise for Edmo Distributors, which company has been very helpful and supportive in taking care of my radio. I would call them up and, at least, ask if they can fix it for you. You might be surprised- I certainly was!
