Broke the 1000hr mark!!

Broke 1000hrs total time on Friday. Took me 5 years, 7 months and 25 days from my first flight to do it! Now I need to get past those Part 135 PIC IFR minimums!!
 
That's great news! I'm curious, if you're concerned about the 135 mins (professional flying gig) what kept you from going the CFI route? The reason I ask is because I'm at the same place (low hours and professional aspirations).

I am not so concerned, that is just the next milestone. I instructed for 1 1/2 years. I stopped instructing because I got a part 135 VFR job flying tours and will get more hours doing that. Plus I will get some PIC turbine time in the Caravan.
