Finally, we got a break in the cloud cover and the ceilings lifted enough to get back in the air. Did some work on short field T/O and landings. Got out of the pattern for some turns around a point and S-turns. It was a good afternoon! Another 1.4 in the book!
 
Good for you,the weather can certainly ,be frustrating.
 
Glad you got to fly. We had a pup transport (PnP) lined up for Saturday but the weather was not co-operating. Though eventually we caught a break and made a dash for it, getting the pup across most of Texas in one day (with the help of another volunteer pilot). Filing IFR definitely helped because we had a pretty decent multi-layer cover from the warm front.
