Brain fade.. What's the stuff fire sleeve is dipped

Experiencing a brain fade.. What's the stuff the cut ends of firesleeve is dipped into to seal the loose edges? Driving me nuts, as it's on the tip of my tongue.

Firesleeve End Dip. I think that I got my can from Spruce. If you google it, you'll find other suppliers.

When I was building, I bought some, it was (what I thought) pricey. Now it's REALLY pricey. The most frustrating part is, once you open the can, you better use it all. Because once exposed to air, it dry out on the top. Next time you use it, you'll have to peel off about 1/4" layer and toss it. I started putting in a layer of food wrap on top of the liquid before putting the lid on. It didn't stop it, but that did reduce the thickness of the dried out layer. My guess is that at least half the volume of the can went into the trash. After the can was gone, I just used red Hi-Temp RTV. It's not as clean a job but it's LOT cheaper.
