Bose A20 problem with music mute with ATC

I am having a problem with my music muting when act comes on. I have the newer bluetooth upgraded cord on mine as well. I hook the 3.5 mm jack to my iPhone and this is the problem I have with the control switch:

Either mutes the music or plays music with atc in background without the music fading.

Anyone having the same problem?
 
Sounds like the dip switch may be caught between the two settings. May be faulty, but try flipping the switch, test, and return to first position, test.
