Bose A20 connects and disconnects constantly

I have a Bose A20 with bluetooth and it is tied to my iPad. It seems to constantly connect and disconnect all the time so that I keep getting a beeping in my headset as it connects and disconnects and it gets annoying. Is there a fix for this other than disconnecting it permanently?

Additionally, it used to do the same when I had it connected to my iphone in the past.

I had to send mine in to Bose when it started doing this for a warranty/replacement.
