This is a great book, and it's available on the net - you can read it, chapter by chapter off of his website! I've learned sooo very much about the duster life - at least as he lived it - and loved reading about it.

Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I am!

Thanks much- I'll pop it onto a pocket PC & have something to read for my next trip to Chicago in 3 weeks.

Tom,

Thanks very much for posting this. It was a very enjoyabe read.

I now have a desire to install a hopper and spray booms on the RG and go "dust" some crops.

No matter what I do. I have this part of me that wants to dust. I try to convince myself that I don't want to do it--but yet I find myself constantly thinking about it..

I'm lucky that it's not a business that I can just jump right into because if I did see an opportunity I'd probably be packing my bags right now.

The part about flying the Stearman is pretty much exactly on par with what my dad is always saying.

It is a great read! I just finished it and fully intend to pay the guy for a hard copy. I recomend others do the same. It's one of the only biographical accounts of that type of aviation I've yet found.

My god, that thing was addictive.
