Every engine is a reaction engine. The fuel undergoes combustion, a chemical reaction.

Still, looks neat and I hope it turns out as wonderful as he thinks it will.

Very interesting. I watched the video the other day.

I wondered, why the nose cone in "full coverage" in space? I (vaguely) understand the need for it in transonic flight (based on what I've learned reading about the SR71), but why go full closed in space?

There seemed to be no mention of fuel burn, perhaps that is why there has been little hoopla over what seems to be something that should be all over the networks.
