In a state that has highways going EAST/WEST marked NORTH/SOUTH, roads with 6 or 8 ROUTE designations also collectively (or randomly) marked EAST/WEST/NORTH/SOUTH, cloverleafs, and highway merge roulette, why would an alabama sign cause any confusion? Hell, if you don't know where you're going, you stand a better chance of getting there.
