Blind Pilot flies and lands a Cirrus

Impressive. How does he keep the plane exactly on the center line for the take off?

Very Inspirational indeed.

If a person who cannot see can land an airplane, I should be able to keep it on the centerline...(I got a lot of work to do).

There was an article in AOPAPilot (I think) with Barry Schiff talking about taking (comedian and actor) Tom Sullivan flying. Sullivan has been blind since birth but has mastered a number of things including playing golf and driving. Flying was beyond him. As you may have figured out "seat of the pants" means little to flying. Absent some input from someone or something that can give you an attitude, it's near impossible.
