Have done many interesting flights over the years, a guy proposed while flying around a volcano in Costa Rica,(she said yes) taken many first timers flying, taken many pilots to gravel bars , once took a 16 year old girl with a terminal disease, I took off and she flew the whole flight to the coast and back to San Jose in Costa Rica, old guy wanted to throw ashes of his friend over the Pacific ocean.
This was one of those flights.
Joseph loves aviation, is blind , and a friend organizing the flour bombing contest at Arlington airshow asked if I wanted to take part, I said yes, then he asked how about we bring Joseph as our bombardier, even better I said.
And against the odds , we won! It made me really happy for Joseph, he was super excited, seeing him like this was priceless.
This was one of those flights.
