Blessed by a weekly airshow...

I live about 7nm SW of KMOR... Over the last few weeks there's been a pilot doing some aerobatic maneuvers just west of my house. Over a sparsely populated area...

It's great fun to turn my eyes skyward to the sound of an airplane and actually see it do something other than fly over...

Outside loops, inside loops, chandelles, falling leaf spins, aileron rolls, and barrel rolls...

It is really enjoyable for 15 minutes or so... And then... Off it goes, into the sunset...

I have no real desire to do aerobatics... Except maybe an aileron roll... But it's fun to watch.

I used to live on a hill where giant cargo carrier military planes would fly over for training runs. It was really neat and now often enough to become a bother. It was like a free unannounced airshow everyone once in a while
