I stopped by the airport (KDWH) at lunch today and noticed that no aircraft were moving, and there was a state trooper near a Cessna parked cattywonkus on the ramp. It looks like the plane had a close encounter with an avian species. You can see in the video that the bird did not fare very well, as it put a rather large new cabin air vent on the plane's windscreen. I theorize that the bird was attracted to the eagle painted on the cowling.

The birds are out in force around Houston most of the year. I have more close calls than I care to admit.
