Bird Strike Caught on Video

In case you missed the video posted yesterday on Youtube...it captured a canadian goose strike involving a C210 on departure. Both occupants were uninjured and incredibly fortunate. Very cool handling by the PIC. Way to go Mr. Baird.

Well the goose was in the 30NM KORD Class B ring. Personally I think this is clearly the fault of the Chi-App controller who were not giving FF service to the goose or the C210!

I've taken a pelican into a turbine, but nothing as spooky as that. Nice job flying the plane.

We've got tons of Canada Geese around PAO. Those birds are huge!
