Big White Birds

Snowy Owls are among my favorite birds, but that is one of the largest Snowy Owls I have seen. I'd hate to have a bird strike with him.
 
Sure are big birds,look good ,wouldn't want to see one close up in the windshield.
 
Owls are so beautiful, we had a pair that lived in the barn, the very corner stack of hay never got touched because their nest was on top. We'd just stack and take to the corner tower. We had no mice or rats in our feed & tack. :D
 
Owls are about the coolest birds of prey. We have several in a wood duck preserve behind our property. I love to hear them communicate at night, and there's no mistake when they acquire their dinner.
 
We saw two Snowy Owls in Oscoda (KOSC) in April last year. Those birds are amazing. While we were really excited to see them sitting on the snow pile next to the taxiway, they were not as excited about us... ;) We took some really nice pictures... :D
