Incidental finding. My Echo revealed that I have a Bicuspid Aortic Valve that functions normally (no regurgitation) Unfortunately, I also have an enlarged aorta. The largest being the mid ascending aorta is 4.7 cm. I was seen by an aortic specialist at the Cleveland Clinic. He says I'm in no immediate danger of rupture or dissection (low risk) Does anyone on this forum have any personal experience with BAV and dilated aorta or aortic aneurysm? Hoping I can continue my aviation career.
