Yeah... Might be true. You know Russia has invaded Ukraine, right? Lotsa troops and and equipment propping up russian gangs in the west. They've been fighting an information war on Ukraine since they invaded, especially since those Russian supported troops shot down the airliner. So take everything on that site and RT with a large grain of salt.

Edit: looks like an opinion piece with no info to back it up. So yeah... believe what you want.
 
Anything coming out of Russia about Ukraine is almost certainly a fabrication. Russia has been staging an ongoing propaganda war through multiple outlets about many topics, Ukraine being one of them. This may very well be one of them. RT is the primary arm. Their aim has been to learn the relevance engines of several news aggregators and produce content for them in exactly the right proportion of clickbait and propaganda to increase prominence in feeds.
