Best Pilot Poll #1

[Dav8or]

So after participating in Jay's airmail vs. airbus poll, which was really only designed to be a thread to critique airline pilots, I thought I would run a series of polls with pilots from the past and present competing here amongst the most knowledgeable pilots that flew in the skies on POA. The winner of each poll will then move on to a final poll and we should be able to authoritatively know with confidence, which pilot is the best of all time.

In my polls, you can explain your choice if you want to, but it's not necessary. These polls will close in 7 days.

Who is the best pilot who ever lived? You are reading his post.

So where's the poll? Ready to go

[ClimbnSink]

And your poll excludes soaring pilots...

[Ted]

I'm not on the list, so I can't vote.

What is the criteria for making a good pilot?

[Ted]

What is the criteria for making a good pilot?

He argues with the most people on the Internet?

And your poll excludes soaring pilots...

There are sure to be some that I over looked. If people can think of 4 more pilot types, I will add sail plane pilots to a 5th poll.

[Dav8or]

What is the criteria for making a good pilot?

Whatever you want it to be.

Come on, I thought most of you guys on here have done most of these pilot jobs in your illustrious careers, haven't you?

[EdFred]

What is the criteria for making a good pilot?

A protagonist.
An antagonist.
A good plot line.

Oh, and not checking out the producer's underage daughter when you have a meeting with him.

[SCCutler]

I don't even SEE Jesse's name on the poll. Defective poll.

It's not about the generic, it's about the specific.
