I can't remember how long it's been now....but everytime I shut-down, I get the windows default <beep> (see attached).

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot/diagnose which application is causing this noise upon shutdown without reformatting? I have 50+ GBs of applications and files and don't have time to dump them and re-install fresh until the summer. I also do not want to simply erase the directory Windows XP points to in the Sounds and Audio settings to the critical stop, because that would only band-aid the situation.

Any help would be appreciated,

Jason

P.S. Just to clarify...I shut-down the Windows XP safe way using Start>>Turn off Computer>>Turn off OR Restart (either one makes the beep). It does shut down and power up just fine. I can post specs later as needed.

Fixed by unintalling Logitech QuickCam driver/software. Thanks, Jesse!

No problem.
