Buying anything new these days is getting impossible with the prices and availability of planes. I've been looking into the new Tecnam P2010 although I've not seen one up close. They seem to offer nicer cabins than a C172 or 182 and are available now. 45" wide and electric seats that raise and lower. It seems to have decent performance. I like that it has the IO390. The warranty is similar to Cessna. I'm willing to give up a few knots for the larger cabin. I want to know if anyone has had a chance to spend some real time with the plane yet. I'm not interested in all the dealers pushing the planes. The plane with the same engine as a SR20 is 15 knots slower, 150 miles shorter range but I'm now 72 and my bladder doesn't care that much about the extra range.
Any feed back would be appreciated. I'm looking out to the fall to purchasing an aircraft.
