Beautiful day to fly but no plane!

[Jthamilton]

Finally have a beautiful day here in Steamboat, sun is out, wind is light and the new plane is in Tulsa where it's annual is just being completed.

What a bummer!!

Murphy's Law strikes again. Plenty of nice days to come. Just keep reminding yourself of that. It's what I'm doing as well!

Sorry about that, better days are ahead.

To make matters worse, a friend was flying from Steamboat to Missouri this morning offered to drop me off in Tulsa so I could bring aircraft home.

So I'm on call but was able to pull some strings and get it covered for the day until I got home. I called the AI who was suppose to have finished the annual Friday but I couldn't get a hold of him to make sure it was complete.

Now I have been looking at the beautiful sky, hearing all those lucky folks buzzing around the sky! I guess the garage needed the work anyway.
