BBC news story about a nice XC

[Matthew]

Just came across this story. BBC reporter gets a ride-along from OK to CA and lives to tell about it:

Nice story/photos. Thanks for sharing.

Is it me, or does the AirCam look like the took the wing off of a Pietnpol Air Camper and attached it to a canoe?

Looks like just the thing for taking a nervous spouse out on an XC through the Rockies:

Hey, it's a twin. What else do you want?

There were couple of them at a fly-in at KFFC a couple weeks ago. One was on amphib floats . Seemed as big a DC-3. Very cool looking with the twin rotax 4 cyl's up on the wing.

Definite ramp appeal.

I haven't seen one in the wild yet.
