Any POA folks overflown B2B? If so any info or tips?
(There’s a baseball stadium tfr beginning at noon)

For those unfamiliar, it’s a 12 km “race” (more of a party for the majority of participants) held 3rd sunday in may- from the embarcadero near the ferry building (bay) to breakers (Ocean Beach)

For many years held the record for most participants, still draws 10s of thousands. One of the oldest races on the planet. Lots of naked runners (sadly, many should be clothed), many inventive costumes, loads of alcohol, traffic jams- the good, the bad, and the ugly…

Looks liker something best enjoyed from the sidewalk, not much to see from a reasonable altitude.

It's not a marathon, you don't need to train. It's fun, but unless you live in the Bay Area, I would not bother.

I treat B2B the same way I treat St Patrick's Day and Cinco de Mayo. I stay out of the Bay for the first and bars for the other two.

If it's today, I'm not sure I'd wanna do any flightseeing in this wind -- it might induce motion sickess :D My trees are trending horizontal right now and the whitecaps are pretty large.

Would like to run B2B some time. I have done a bunch of HHH runs (including the DC Red Dress Run and the associated Pre-Lewds a few times). When I was applying to run the Marathon du Medoc (Bordeaux France), I'm reading the application and I say that my French was a bit rusty, but I'm pretty sure it is obligatory to run the race in costume.

Not sure where you are, but it’s breezy in the sunset district today. Race time tomorrow morning winds should be light.

Ron- B2B is fun, but unless you’re fast enough to be a seeded runner, don’t bother “racing”- in my experience it’s virtually impossible- streets are clogged with walkers.

That medic marathon sounds fun!
