The BatCopter from the movie Batman is currently doing duty in FL for the tourist trade. I was channel flipping, and saw the 1966 movie Batman. They had a Bell 47 dressed up as the Batcopter and looked up the N number. According to FAA records, N3079G (
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/NNum_Results.aspx?NNumbertxt=3079G ) is currently registered in Sarasota. Interestingly, it was only a couple of years old when it was used for the movie!
Apparently, they're still capitalizing on the show: http://www.nockworldentertainment.com/batcopter_n3079g
In the movie, I love that they have Robin in the pilot seat!
Not to mention the deodorant they spray on the shark!
