On the way to work this morning I spotted a banner tow, celebrating the Giants victory. It had started to rain/snow. Here are the local METARs:

KEWR 041410Z 06005KT 1 1/2SM -SNRA SCT007 BKN013 OVC020 02/M02 A3036 RMK AO2 P0001
KLGA 041351Z 06006KT 1 1/2SM -SN OVC023 03/M02 A3036 RMK AO2 SFC VIS 2 1/2 SNB09 SLP281 P0000 T00281022
KJFK 041408Z 04008KT 3SM -SN FEW015 OVC026 03/M03 A3037 RMK AO2 SFC VIS 5 P0000 $

...and looking out the window visibility has gone down to less than one mile (although it is variable) in flurries that are varying from small "we mean business" flakes to the big wet "just kidding" flakes.

Here's hoping he found a place to set down. It was temporarily worse in the direction of KLDJ which I believe is his base of operations.

There is nobody but stupid pilots like me looking up this morning anyway. You get a face full of snow!
