Banana, er... Bonanza is the answer to everything...

I hate it when I'm in a Bonanza and I get called a Debonair. I love it when I'm in a Beech single and get called a Baron.

I get confused some times and I'm sure it's been covered. But...

A Bo is the best. Established.

Is a Baron 2x the best, or 1/2 the best?

I was in my class D last summer and a "Bannana" reported their position inbound. CFI and I had a good, private laugh about that. Private, because I've said stupid things on the radio too.

Of course.

But you didn't hear that from me. Or the nice lady controller. :)
dude sounds kind of like a D that way he confronts her. it didn't sound like he was being funny. I hope he never says the wrong word on the radio

Plus if I was next up, I'd tell her bananas suck, and I want her to call me peach. LOL.

"Ground, Peach, er... Skylane 79M taxi for takeoff southeast bound, runup complete, information Bourbon, er... Whisky." ;)

Even if the guy was a D-Bag that's just a perfect setup for fun. Haha.

I am a little amazed that she came back so quickly with, you heard wrong.

She should have just admitted it, apologized and move on.

I get a little upset when people lie and tell me I didn't hear what was said, or I was wrong when clearly I wasn't.

Some people do that when nervous... initial reaction is to lie... if pressed, they usually relent in the lie, but yeah... it's weird. Just say, "Yeah, I did by accident..."

Oh well... humans.

I spoke before thinking.... was the Bonanza banana yellow..???
