Yesterday an instructor and student flying a Seminole damaged two homes in Daytona Beach while ending up in a retention pond behind the homes. Both pilots were able to make it to shore with minor injuries. The plane sank and is the NTSB 's problem now. Reports are sketchy on just what caused the crash but there were severe thunderstorms in the area. This flight school has several in Florida but no info on where this plane came from. Possibly KDAB?? They were 5 miles from an airport.
