Bad Elf Firmware Update

[Ventucky Red]

Unit - Bad Elf GPS Pro and iPad Mini 4 with Foreflight

Is there a faster way to update the firmware? I have been at in now for three hours and the USB instructions are for the GPS Pro +. Not working for my unit.

Thanks

I've just used the iPad and bluetooth to upgrade the firmware. The Bad Elf app tells me there's an upgrade and I follow the instructions there.

I've had similar problems with the update using iPhone 7+ and iPad 3. Hours and hours and then failure. I had a brainwave and dug out an iPhone 4s and that sorted it in a couple of minutes. Hope this helps
