Back in the saddle suggestions

Ok, so after almost 2 years of no flying I'm itching to get back into the cockpit and go - actually have been itching the whole time, but now family health situation appears to have subsided enough that it's now possible and practical.

Any suggestions on review tools before finding a plane and instructor in order to maximize my dollars and minimize the hours get back on track?
