Hello friends!

Haven't been around for a while.

I hope everyone's doing well!

I logged my first flight in almost a year today. Logged 1.0 in the Schweizer 269C. I quit flying last year because with the way work was going I could only schedule about two or three flights a month. I felt like I was wasting money relearning stuff each flight.

I'm going to be spending about two weeks in the field here soon, but once I'm back I should have a lot more free time. I'm really hoping that I don't have to stop again until after I've got my certificate.

Flight today went better than I thought. Only took a few minutes to the feel back.

Again, I hope everyone's doing well! I'll be around a lot more as I get back into this flying thing full-force.

As Steve Tupper pointed out in his podcast, not passing a checkride... Or in your case, not flying enough so you have to relearn things...

Carries with it a terrible penalty...

You are required to go fly more. ;)

Truly a penalty that isn't a penalty if you ask me. ;) ;) ;)

Welcome back. Just had my 5th hour in a Sweitzer. What a blast. Hope you get your hours in and get the PP. I have the fixed wing to fall back on if I can't get the hover down.
