This photo was widely published during the show, by EAA itself and many others (including me).

After some creative whining and begging, the photographer has made it available for us to purchase. It is now available in high resolution versions, suitable for framing. I'm buying one for our Airshow Room at the hotel, and one for the hangar. (If you look to the right of the white dot, we are the red plane with the big white awning. Can you find yourself?)

I wonder if the Google Earth satellites took a shot this year. Last time I checked in Google Earth, the photos were from an Airventure week.

I have been in touch with the photographer. He says he has similar pix of the entire flight line! Stay tuned for more.

Just a normal "other 50 weeks of the year" pictures on Google Earth now.

Yeah, the dude really didn't price them to sell. If I was in his shoes I would sell that print for half price and use it as a shoe - in to my website.

Still it is gorgeous. It's gonna look awesome in our Airshow Room and at my hangar...

It is a term from horsemanship, meaning to hold up a horse from running as fast as (s)he can. If "the fix" was in on a horse race, all the jockeys except the one designated to win would shoo-up their horses, allowing the shoo-in to win.
