Hello
I recently joined Pilots of America. You may or may not see many posts from me, but I do read many. I am the shop manager at a small maintenance shop in Missouri. Enough said about that.

As a note for pilots looking at Avionics and Radio upgrades, when you are thinking about equipment, consult shops such as the one I manage to get professional input on what equipment will interface and if there is behind the scenes equipment needed to help the front equipment operate as advertised.
Most avionics equipment is quite expensive and your authorized dealers have been to training and have access to Manufacturer Tech support.

New equipment is great and the technology advancements are changing rapidly. Remember that for all avionics, when you write the check the equipment is yours. Also new digital autopilots are great, but training and programming make them do the work you are expecting.

Contact us or your local equipment dealer if you have questions.
