I haven't been able to get the site up all day. I can call my local asos and that's working.
According to https://isitdownorjust.me/aviationweather-gov/ the site is down.
Weather.gov is up.

Just curious if anyone else is having problems.

By 'down' I mean I just get a blank screen, no specific notice that the site isn't valid or an error message. I have tried with my laptop (Firefox and Edge), Android phone (Firefox), and iPad (Safari).

It seems as though the Russians have taken over that site. It goes out sporadically, so it will probably be working again by this evening.

Haven't been able to get current meters or tafs all day. Apps I use show last weather observation at midnight.
 
Just signed into it and it looks as though they have changed their format.
 
Alaska Aviation Weather Unit (AAWU) is up and running fine....:rolleyes:
 
NOTICE

There is scheduled server maintenance on Thursday Dec 6 from about 9AM CST (1500 UTC) to about 2PM CST (2000 UTC). This could result in data flow disruption to the website between 1530 and 1700 UTC. Although any lost data will try to be resent, it's possible it won't be recovered.

As a part of this maintenance, the software to produce much of the images on the website will be upgraded. This could cause some imagery to look different. We will attempt to fix any issues with the imagery as soon as possible after the upgrade.
