Sixty degree turns? Figure 8s? (Lazy 8s?) Aren't those things you do for the commercial ticket? Something's wrong there. I've never heard of anything approaching 8 hours for a practical, plus I've always heard that examiners actually want you to pass as much as you do. Weird article. But I agree that not everyone can be a pilot, but that's not bragging. There's a lot of things I can't do that others can and visa versa.
