So, does anyone think we'll see a significant decrease in Avgas prices as a result of recent oil price decreases?

At our local field, the price hasn't changed. That seems to be the case in most places. Is it just a matter of time to get through the supply chain, or will it never happen?

matter of time and local attitude...prices are "sticky" because of delivery times and management decisions (we can't drop prices $0.50!!!!!). Find a nearby field without the attitude.

Prices are dropping around the Denver area.

They'll drop some, but the price of oil is probably not a significant factor in price of Avgas.

I've seen the price of avgas drop locally from $6 to just over $5 over the past six months.

The local FBO dropped the price of Avgas from $4.95 to $4.65 with their last delivery. It was $4.95 for about a year. I don't know how often they get deliveries, but I don't think it is frequently.

Significant drops down here in Florida. Just looked at receipts from several weeks ago at 4.83 and 3.80 today!! Hope it continues... but I know better... enjoy it while it lasts..

100LL prices are based on the last delivery price... There is no way they can lower it or the FBO will quickly go out of business..IMHO

I have a feeling that FFZ turns over a load of gas pretty quickly though...

Looks like they lowered it a meager 20 cents today. I can fly 10 minutes and buy gas $1 cheaper..... From _Atlantic_ of all places!

KMPV is still up in the stratosphere at $6.50. Self-serve at KRUT, on the other hand, recently came down to $4.92.

60R (Navasota) is reporting $3.99 SS as of 12/4/14.

Navasota is like a five minute flight from here.

Jack better lower his $4.99 SS or I'll be a flyin' away ... me and my 81 gallon extended tank wagon. :skeptical:

Find a field ,that had low prices to start with, they usually get a quicker turn over in supply. Remember price goes up on a rocket ship and comes down on a parachute.

$2.75 for premium mogas is better. ;)

I believe it is. Unfortunately not available at my field nor is it recommended for my cirrus. So im stuck paying 3.80 or whatever the price may be. We're gonna buy it and fly regardless of price. At least i am.
