I'm looking to see who has a baseline average on oil usage with a Lycoming IO360C1C. So far, after 250 hours of monitoring, the average oil added is approximately 1 qt every 7 hours. Oil is changed every 50 hours and sent to the lab, with no anomalies noted. There is a small leak still being determined as to its source, but it's not significant enough for any concern. What's your average? The aircraft flies 25 hours a month.

I have the same engine on my Arrow II.

Assuming I keep it roughly even at 6qts, I'll add about 1qt every 7-10h. After a fresh oil change it'll consume the least oil. After a while it'll increase consumption.
Note: if I have more than 6qts of oil, it will lose the excess pretty quickly.

Historically I've flown comparable amounts per month to you and also change oil it at 50h or 3 months, whichever comes first.
That consumption has held for ~800 hours since I bought it (now at ~1500 SMOH). And like your engine, it is without anomalies in oil sample tests and no metal found in filters after oil change.
