While we're on the subject... Anyone know what the installed price for the basic Garmin unit costs? It'll tie to a 430W.

You don't see too many advertised install prices but one shop in LA. quotes $10,500, Saint Aviation in Dunelleon Fl. would probably give you a better price. (base price is 7K for the unit which is almost what you can get the TT installed for)..Not 100% sure the RG is in the AML, it does show the Q model though.

Bold move cotton. Figured with the ACS, plus Textron's active orphaning of cessna high wing gear subcomponent and prices put the final nail in that coffin. But if it's your forever airplane, why not. It's only money. :D
 
The below is from Beechtalk and the install was on a Bonanza. A few months ago I had the TruTrak installed in an Archer II at Saint Aviation. Very happy with service, price as well as the TT.
