Hello all,
I'm new to the site and I'm loving all these post.
My question is I have a Stec 30 with GPSS. Its coupled to the 430w and can run off the heading bug as well.

It doesn't matter what i'm using either Bug or GPS, it fly's right of course about 3-5 degrees.

Did anyone have this issue. Im not thinking of fixing it myself unless it something like a trim pot adjustment just want to know what other folks have done in the past.

Cheers
Marcelo

Does it run true "parallel" to the intended course? or does it "scallop" back and forth over the intended course?

I had an STEC 20 that was in the true parallel category. (I heard somewhere that there's an adjustment under the the mounting face of the turn coordinator).....:wink2:

Let the avionics shop look at it and adjust it.

I don't know about the 30, but the 55X has a small set screw that is pilot adjustable for this. It's in the manual and the guys at STEC's customer support line are pretty nice when you ask them questions like this.
