So, tonight's flight was wonderful--shooting approaches and practicing landings. Love night flying! Everything's calm and beautiful.

Did have a few seconds of "auto rough." I guess it really is real! :wink2:
 
What is "auto rough" ? Something to do with putting an auto engine on the front of a perfectly good airplane? :rofl:

Flying over water during the day is a close second for improving the hearing of a pilot. :D
 
If the engine is running "just a tinsy bit rough" you can set it down on the beach just fine. ;)

It's a play from the term "auto lean" a setting on the mixture on some of the airliner/military stuff back in the piston engine glory days.
