Any way to get and auto pilot put in my 206 without going brand new? I hate the idea of 12-14k for new.
 
yeah, you should be able to install a Cessna 400 system on the TC for a few thousand, it's what I'm thinking about doing until 'Owner Experimental' gets ironed out.
 
You should check with Brittain - they sell refurbed units, and I have heard that their service is excellent.

There are used autopilots for sale, but the problem will be installing it -- lots of labor. The shop which normally makes its markup on the new avionics will not be interested in an "at cost" installation, and when all is said and done, you may not save very much. But try checking the market for used hardware and talk to your shop for a quote on the labor and see for yourself.
