Augusta GA pireps please

Will be flying in to Augusta GA in a couple of weeks. Looking for PIReps on whether to go into Augusta regional or Daniels Field. They look to be equidistant from my final destination.

Arriving Friday evening/night and departing Saturday evening.

Either airport is about the same. I've heard rumors about ramp charges at Daniel, but just rumors mind you. I thought folks only went to Augusta in April

Daniel Field is located in town where there is closer access to food and lodging. Augusta Regional/Bush Field is out away from town in the industrial area. Gas is 30 cents cheaper at Daniel. Bush has rental cars available, but I don't remember any rentals at Daniel. Both airports are easy to get in and out of. Even though Bush is a class "D" airport, it has fairly light traffic. The tower is only open from 6:45 AM to 11:00 PM.

Been to Daniel a few times. They're nice, but they're strict about their fees when we're in the Pilatus. Never been there in a single piston.
