Attitude vs rate based autopilots…in regards to Aspen interface

There has been a lot of discussion of attitude vs. rate based autopilots.

Does anybody have any experience with the Aspen connected to an Stec?

I've heard a few guys says that the Aspen interface fixes the S-turn, I mean S-tec autopilots in "Green needles". Converts everything analog to digital

GPSS and the Stec works great. w/ or w/o the Aspen.
