Hi guys,
I'm brand new here, I live and fly for a living in Tahiti, French Polynesia as a pilot on ATRs. I'm ATPL EASA and willing to get my FAA ATP.
I passed my ATP CTP, ATM and FAA class1 last year. I'm trying to get a visa and get my ATP training and checkride on a BE75 in FL in March.

I never flew in the states but I'm FI CRI IRI in the EASA system ( CFI CFII MEI equivalent) and about 5000 TT including 300 on light twins and 2000 on singles both VFR and IFR.

I'd like some tips to be best prepared for the training and checkride, do you have any recommandations, document, books, website? I worked on sheppard for the ATM but I think I need someting more "practical" for the oral interview. I bought the ASA ATP checkride book already. I'm also willing to get some tips for the flying part, any tips welcome!

Thanks and merry Christmas, fly safe,

Victorien

I assume you mean BE76 (Duchess)? (no BE75 that I know of).
This is a pretty good guide for oral exam prep; https://asa2fly.com/airline-transport-pilot-oral-exam-guide-sixth-edition/ , if you don't already have it.
Available free online, or hardcopy for purchase, the Airman Certification Standards https://www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/acs/atp_airplane_acs_11.pdf is the guide for the checkride, not so much a "how to" as it's the outline for all the required topics and maneuvers.
I don't know exactly what your EASA requirements are, but the FAA-ATP checkride is the same as any type rating test, or airline checkride, you've probably done that several times already, instrument flying (to tight standards), engine out procedures, systems knowledge, etc. To me, the hardest part is being comfortable in whatever aircraft is to be used for your test, perhaps without a lot of time in that make/model. Don't overthink it, and good luck!

Thank you Jim, appreciate it very much,
Safe flights and nice Duke on your picture!
