Now that ATG is out of business (I heard they sold their remaining Javelin's to the Air-Force Academy ...) are the Javelins more affordable than the original $3M ?

If they sold the remaining ones to the Air Force Academy, what Javelins would there be to sell at a more affordable price?

I don't think they ever had any airworthy ones.

Sure would have been nice, though - 528 KTAS, 10,000 fpm climb, 51,000 foot ceiling, and undeniable cool factor.

ATG used to be based at my previous home airport, KFTG. I never saw one fly.

I did! They would use FTG as a test area. In fact there was discussion to keep HQ at APA but move manufacturing to FTG. I ended up in the pattern one day with the Javelin...I decided to go missed (I'm doing 80 kts, he's doing 170) to let him land.
