A drop out of a 172. It looks "modified", apropos that camera attachment discussion we had just recently.

Edit: It looks like a GPS mounted to the strut. Also, they managed to close the door after the drop. I didn't know it was possible.

Huh...thought it was going to be an armadillo with a parachute being dropped out the airplane. Only in Texas.

Yep, 182 jump planes always close the door, just a bit of rudder makes the door fall back down. You can muscle it down too, but why would you?

Helps a lot when some guys get out at 5k, and the other few go to 10k.

First jump plane I've seen with a right side yoke...
