Are they taking App Store revenue into account? If so, that's twisting things a bit, since 70% of that goes out to the developer who built the app.

There are always seasonal/new product introduction peaks, but the iPhone 4S just blew everything away last quarter. Not bad for a "disappointing" product (no LTE, no new industrial design, yadda yadda).
