What is included in the Sale:
  • Apollo GX 60 Approach/Enroute GPS/COM with tray and connectors/harness
  • 2nd GX 60 GPS in case you need replacement parts. It works great but has a screen issue.
  • Apollo MX 20 Large Screen Multifunction Display with mounting tray & connector
  • Mid Continent CDI with all annunciator lights for enroute and approach.
  • Pre-wired Harness for connecting the GX60 to the CDI and switches.
  • Pre-wired Harness (RS232) for connecting the GX60 to an altitude digitizer.
  • printed/bound user manual
  • GPS antenna
The GX60 is in excellent shape and is pre-wired to the CDI that includes all of the annunciators for enroute and non-precision RNAV approach. Note that the approach database is not current and no longer available from Jeppesen. However, I believe that the GPS is legal for enroute GPS navigation and the approach portion can be used for training.

The GX 60 also integrates a com radio with stand-by frequency monitoring. This is the best feature of this unit as it like having a second comm unit for monitoring ATIS, AWOS etc.

The MX20 is a large screen multifunction display that is intended to receive it's position location from a suitable GPS source like the GX60 included here. It does not have an internal GPS receiver. In direct bright sunlight the right half of the screen gets a little blurry for some reason but if the unit is in normal light on a shaded panel, it's quite readable.

The two units work in perfect harmony together. When properly connected and configured, you simply enter your routes on the GX60 and they update on the MX 20. You can of course Zoom in and Out and things like that on the MX20. By the way the MX20 still does get Jeppesen database updates.

This is a very easy install because the GX 60 harnesses are included.

Aking $2750 for the entire setup.
